Cheryl Caron

Assignment Photographer

Photography transports me to a place that is quiet, where my concentration is solely on seeing. I look for what stirs emotion, causes reflection, and for people connecting. I like viewers to see familiarity in the images I make.

At heart, I am an explorer of the beauty in humankind. Recognizing what we have in common can open our hearts to compassion. People are unique in personality, attitudes, talents, and abilities, but we all have the same basic needs. It is important to me that my images communicate the story, evoke emotion, and raise awareness of our shared humanity. Each opportunity to work with organizations in need of visual stories to communicate their work is a joy.
